Dr. Rebekah was raised in Upstate New York and moved to Canada to complete her nursing education in Kingston, Ontario. She spent 5 years working as a Critical Care Registered Nurse at Kingston General Hospital, and later as a Contract Nurse in numerous Intensive Care Units & Emergency Rooms nationwide.

Initially, she came to Alaska for contract work at Alaska Regional and Providence Hospitals. Later, she worked as a medevac nurse for Aeromed and Life Med medevac companies. This was always a goal for her and she was thrilled to finally achieve it! These diverse work experiences were priceless opportunities that helped shape her into an experienced, knowledgeable health care professional.

Dr. Rebekah was referred to a holistic chiropractor for care after an injury while working as a medevac nurse. "I was introduced to a world of healing I never knew existed, and it ultimately changed my life," she recalls.

After much contemplation and deliberation, she decided to return to school for her Doctorate in Chiropractic. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Life West Chiropractic College in 2013. After graduation, she returned to Alaska to build her new career in chiropractic care.

Dr. Rebekah loves to hike, snowboard, cross-country ski, ice skate, embark on winter camping trips, and spend time with her Alaskan family, Chris & Eva.

Herself and her team at Avé Holistic Health & Chiropractic look forward to helping you reach your health and wellness goals.
